I still hear people include calling leads from a genuine lead list when they talk about the "Cold Market".

This terminology is incorrect and unfortunate for a number of reasons. It causes fear and is another reason for poor results and missed opportunities.

You are so right Michael. Cold calling and trying to build your business in the "cold market" is a definite cause of fear and poor results. It is fine to work in your cold market, but we must understand how to do this properly. This industry is called network marketing for a reason. You must build a network of targeted prospects in which you can build a relationship with... By targeted it means people already looking for what you are offering... When you do this, calling or approaching these people about your products or opportunity produces much better results because they are already searching for it...
